Potency Rating: Haste Rating, Armor Penetration Rating and Spell Penetration have been merged into a single stat. Each percent of Potency will decrease the enemy's spell resistances and armor; it will also increase the player's cast speed and melee attack speed.
More 'consolidation' and simplification by Blizzard = more redundant recipes (eg gems, pots etc). Meh. Never liked this kind of change. Theorycrafters who love crunching numbers with 10000 variables (see above poster) will prolly be sad. Heheh

Priest: Devouring Plague will no longer be spread by Pestilence.

Priest: Fixed a bug where Guardian Spirit will sometimes fail to prevent a killing blow.
It's been mentioned on MMO-Champion that these notes are fake. They're put together as a list of things blues have said in the past few months. Kind of a let down since some of the changes actually looked ok :p

I wonder if this "bug" is latency-related. It sounds similar to the problem that many rogues have with getting hit out of stealth right after popping Vanish.

The Vanish bug was reported in vanilla wow and has never been fixed 100%. Instead they took away our swirly ball.

Yeah. I think there was a Blue response some time ago stating that the Vanish "bug" is probably due to latency, which means it will not be fixed. That's why I wonder if it's the same with Guardian Spirit and whether it's possible to get a fix for both abilities.

The difference is that GS worked pre-3.08 and Vanish never has.
With that said, in the few months I played my rogue, I never had a problem with vanish so long as the mob wasn't directly attacking me and/or it didn't have a fast attack speed if it was.
/stopattack /cast vanish Worked brilliantly as a macro :p
Sadly, the macro does not prevent others from hitting you out of Vanish. It has happened to me many times before and just struck again yesterday when I was doing dailies before the raid.
