... I just watched the cinematic. Considering its only 3 minutes long, it took well over an hour to load on my handicapped internet.
If you can ignore the REALLY bad Brann voice acting, it's actually a lot better of a cinematic than we've had in the past since it explains why we're actually going into Ulduar (LOL ZUL AMAN LETS GO KILL A TROLL). It's also really great that the Horde & Alliance conflict continues even in Ulduar, though obviously not as a main focus.
Weird though, one of the things that was hinted during the Halls of Stone dialogue text is that the reason the old gods (C'thun, Yogg-Saron, the one at the Master's Glaive...) weren't killed originally by the Titans was because they were symbioticly entwined with the planet. That is, killing one would kill the other.
This means the Yogg-Saron fight will be basically us just beating Yogg-Saron with a stick and weakening him again, unless they completley ignore the lore they put into place of 3.0 >.> It wouldn't frankly surprise me but yes.
Yes, I'm a lore boar
Wondering how Algalon factors in, whether he's corrupted or is as depraved of general lore as Sartharion was. Even Sartharion though had the whole "I'm aaa black dragon, kidnapping other broods, doing it riiiight under everybody's nose, aren't Iiiiii smart" thing going for him.
Hopefully there are a few quests for Ulduar, I remember seeing somebody posting something about "combat pets" which only work in Ulduar and were class specific (I believe this was Tankspot a month ago). Would be great if somebody who can actually move around Dalaran or Ulduar can dig up more info
(Hint hint: Rhodie or Gallow!)
On a final note, good god do I hate Varian and Garrosh, boring characters are boring. If I wanted to see an emo hothead I'd look in the mirror.
