Potential Bug - In Game Mail

Hi all,

Just wanna say that I experienced 3 separate incidents of loss mails since 3.1, and i have raised a ticket for them. It happens randomly. I mail a lot from one toon to another, but so far its been like 5% of all mails since 3.1. I'm limiting my mails from now on.

BTW, this NEVER happened before to me, other than that one time in vanilla wow.

If possible, limit in game mails. Do keep up the in-mail links to me with all the 'informative' sites though.. u know you who are... kekkeke

As you can see, nothing to do with mail. I'd suggest writing up a bug report.

Things to take into consideration are:

When you were sending items, was there any common theme between them, i.e. Were you sending consumables that stacked or did it only happen with armour/weapon items.

Did you check if the items arrived an hour later, there may be a bug not allowing instant delivery.

also be careful if you decide to switch talents in WG... i did this and it unlearned all my holy tree.... simple to re-assign but a PITA

Switching talents and losing them is a known issue and occurs wherever. It seems to be related to dual-specs as you can't lose talents while in only one spec, the loss occurs in the switch.

In particular, the loss of a whole tree is entirely random as to when/where it occurs (seems to be particularly occurent when experiencing high latency).

More likely, however, are losing talents which are trainable and have multiple ranks (Devastate, Mortal Strike, Scourge Strike, Vampiric Touch, etc). You are unlikely to ever lose Shadowform in a respec because it only has one rank, but you are likely to lose points which are higher up in the tree especially if they are linked to one another.

Happened over 2 days, and 3 times, not a coincidence.

1 time was pure gold only. Freakie to Frenzie.
2nd time was 4 x titansteel bars. Flashie to Frenzie.
3rd time was mats for Eternal belt Buckle. Flashie to Frenzie.

Common factor: Frenzie at end factor
Diff mats, diff compositions and also way different timings.

Let see how that goes.
