| I'd like this to be a must watch for both current raiders and retirees, some interesting information regarding the new content coming out as far as raiding goes along with video previews of the new instances (including Icecrown Citadel, along with discussion of incoming changes). Note: The Onyxia Whelpling minipet will be awarded to players who log in during the Onyxia raid remake release (similar to what happened with the Baby Blizzard Bear minipet for logging in during WoW's anniversary). Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rr_HYP3Wtq8Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NJTbr3HEoMPart 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeDLO28vuHoPart 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaX5bfRktVoPart 5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSqf95YGBzEThe Blizzcon video basically details the new raiding content, what it will be like, some of the encounters in mind for Icecrown Citadel (that airship battle sounds pretty sweet), some of the stats on the updated gear that will be dropping in the new Onyxia raid, video previews of the new raid instances, previews of the new 5 man instances being released alongside those raids (yes, new 5 mans in patch 3.3), and information regarding the cross-server LFM. In part 5 it's stated that the cross server LFM feature will most likely be released after 3.3 is out, perhaps around November or so, most likely before Cataclysm's release. But they *HAVE* stated that they intend to raise the bar on the feature from 5-mans to cross-server raids if everything is as successful as planned. Yes, we're stuck in a boring patch at the moment, but given that these videos share a detailed insight on what raiding will be like during Icecrown Citadel and onto Cataclysm, I'm dubbing these videos a must-watch for anyone interested in what raiding will be like after IC's release. | |

Frankly I'm desperate to do some old school stuff... 10 man BWL? 15 man AQ40? I never even set foot in black temple. Selfish? yes but it doens't change the fact that I'd love to try it

Selfish? yes but it doens't change the fact that I'd love to try it According to the videos, there will be a new Blackrock instance (Blackrock Caverns) with remniscient level design to the Blackrock instances themselves (although to be honest, to make anything remniscient of Blackrock, you have to make it BIG, like.. an instance which people would get lost in for the first time heading in). Along with that, the return of Nefarian is also mentioned, there's also a raid in the elemental plane of fire, where you get to fight Ragnaros again at his full strength.

| So ... which video am I supposed to watch to be excited about the coming changes? The first one is all about their self-aggrandizement and how they designed their dungeons. I'm a hard customer, as far as WoW is concerned | |

And I can partly understand why now. Releasing details of an expansion this shortly after their last one, seems to me that they're saying "Look, we realised WOTLK wasn't half of what we promised it to be, so rather than make-up for the things that we were lacking in and release all the features we've been saying aren't high priorities for ages, we'll be releasing some of the features and attempting to reconcile the currently flawed features in a brand new paid-for expansion which holds absolutely no promise of not doing the same thing all over again". Do you know what would bring me back in a heartbeat though? If they reduced subscription prices. I've been paying the same amount, give or take the exchange rate, for three years. The lack of recognisation as a customer, especially when they claim to have such a large consumer base, leads me to wonder whether they truly believe the WoW experience is still worth the same price now as it was back when there was actually new experiences to be had.
