| *Disclaimer: I am in no part related to and/or advertising for Tec-Drome. It's just some information I would like to share with imterested parties* I was shopping with a friend in Sim Lim Square earlier just to pickup Soulcalibur IV (PS3) so we can bash each other to death on our 46-inch LCD TV. Anyways, thats besides the point, the point is Warhammer Online Collectors Editions Pre-Order Cards are available for in-store pickup at Tec-Drome for S129.00. Speculation has it saying Open Beta will start September 3 until September 12. The Live Game Head Start will be September 15. If all these are true, Mythic will be on Schedule for a September release and I will have 2 copies of Warhammer Online Collectors Editions . And I have got this sitting in my email box: Hello from Amazon.com. We are writing about the order you placed on May 23 2008 13:57 PDT (Order# XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX). The item(s) listed below will actually ship sooner than we originally expected: "Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Collector's Edition [DVD-ROM]" [DVD-ROM] Estimated arrival date: 09/19/2008 - 09/23/2008 I am a happy bunny because WAR is coming!! Wah?? Such a short beta period? Hope it won't be released as an unfinished and buggy product. | |

Hope it won't be released as an unfinished and buggy product. From my understanding, Open Beta is mainly used to stress test the servers pre-launch. All bugs should be worked out in Closed Beta which is going on for almost a year (I think). There is an article on Eurogamer with comments from Paul Barnett (one of the designers) saying it's ready. I do have hopes for WAR and hope they would not released it unfinished. Ne-o-nate (Stefani)

| I got soul calibre 4 today too after watching Mummy but it's on xbox360 ... and the LCD tv in my room is only 32 inch .. 46 inch... wah lao must be super big! BTW, I think I read that War online will have a lot of promised content taken out right from the start, such as playable race, classes etc.. which is a big put off. Probably running out of funds. | |

Hehe, I am living in an 1850+ sq ft apartment, I have lots of space Yea, Mythic have four classes (down from 24) and cites (down from 6) removed. Thats about it, at least from what I have read. What most WAR community is hoping though is Mythic patching it in at some point post-launch. Anyways, how's Mummy? Ne-o-nate (Stefani)

| I'm keeping close tabs on this one. I'm not really optimistic at the moment, but being a part of the Warhammer universe is still pretty cool.
I hope Mythic delivers.

| omg luvme, i've played warhammer since i was 14 when i was in the UK. started with the fantasy but then fell in loved with the 40k. i played Blood angels and Dark angels. but i stopped since they started making plastic version of the table top miniatures instead of pewter yet keeping the price the same.

| I have also played both since i was young. Skaven and Chaos for Warhammer and Blood Angles for 40K.
Though I did get more into the painting of them in the end and one year entered one of my minitures into a golden demon games day held here in Australia and recieved A commeneded Award for my entry , I modled the headless horseman form a mounted vampire lord and also got a picture of it in White Dwarf magazine Issue 266 if anyone has them floating around.
Also played the War fantasy roleplay alot to when was younger.

| Damn, I have been tracking and waiting for WAR for almost 2 years. It's finally here!! The Day of Reckoning has been offically announced. North American, European and Oceanic servers will go live on the 18th September 2008 10am EST. Live Game Head Start has also been confirmed to begin September 15, 2008 at 10am EST, I am so excited I might even stay up for launch and lose a couple days of sleep. Anyways, I get to paint the minature that comes with the Collectors' Edition and display it in the cabinet with all my 1/35 scale German WWII models Ne-o-nate (Stefani) | |

Cool. Let's see if this lives up to expectations (and hopes)! Open Beta is speculated to start on or after 15th August 2008. When it comes to MMORPG, it's hard to expect and hope for anything especially everyone is and will be benchmarking WAR against WoW (which has 4 years of content and polish). Comparing a newly launch game and 4-year-old game is just unfair IMO but I do have hopes for WAR and hopefully it will swipe me away. Unless WAR has gameplay issues (like AoC), I guess I will be playing WAR beyond my 30 free days. It is my time anyways, spent 4 years on FFXI with multiple level 75s, sold it for US$2500 moved to WoW. Now my 4 years-spent-on-an-mmo is almost up and it's about time I move on. Time to finish the PvP grind!! Ne-o-nate (Stefani)

may get a ps3 now that my younger brother just got me a new toy for my study room. the series 6 samsung 40" lcd tv + a new bluray player + cable linked to my ultimate starhub sub. previously, didnt buy the ps3 as i think i will be spending more time in my study room (on the 3rd flr) then playing with a console with the 1st floor sony 46" lcd tv. looks like i will be spending more time in my study.. :p heh..nice..I am subscribed to Starhub MaxOnline Ultimate too but it's only hooked up in the "study" room. This is the same place that housed my PC running @ 3.00Mhz, 4Gb DDR3 ram, 9800 GX2 SLI, 24" Samsung LCD monitor. No TV in "study" room though, I spent too much time in there already and besides it gives me a reason to go out (watch TV, DVD, Bluray, etc) I do not have the luxury of multiple floors since I have moved out from my parents 3 years ago into a 1850+ sq ft 4-bedroom Palm Spring Condominium. At least it's something I can call my own and I can decorate as I see fit. Most of the "entertainment" is in the living room: SCV, Sony Bluray, 46" Samsung Full HD LCD TV, etc. Ne-o-nate (Stefani)
