| Nasa has confirmed that laptops carried to the ISS in July were infected with a virus known as Gammima.AG. The worm was first detected on Earth in August 2007 and lurks on infected machines waiting to steal login names for popular online games. The laptops carried by astronauts reportedly do not have any anti-virus software on them to prevent infection. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7583805.stmProves that anti-virus programs aren't rocket science.

| International Space Station has a keylogger NASA has confirmed that the International Space Station has been infected by a keylogger. It was carried onto the station by an astronaut's laptop back in July. The keylogger in question is the W32.Gammima.AG -- which is specifically a gaming keylogger. In other words, the ISS has the exact kind of keylogger that plagues so many of us in WoW. http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/08/27/international-space-station-has-a-keylogger/ | |
