| Hi all, I haven't been looking forward to patch 3.2 since its announcement and I dislike the direction this game is taking, so I'll be taking a hiatus. Thanks for all the fun, guys. Good luck with your hardmodes now that Yogg is down.
I might be back to take on the Lichking later, if you have an opening for a healer then. If not, I'll just watch out for his mutilated corpse on your "Bosses downed" thread. But for now, adios!

| Thanks, Sym. Hope to see you in-game too, when the game heads in a direction I like. | |

| Maybe cos I’ve been playing WoW so long but the buffs and nerfs don’t bother me as much these days. (unless they take away DnD! /emorage) If my class is nerfed badly, some other class is buffed big time so the raid is still ok! I just look forward to seeing the new content with guildies. Raiding won’t change much: I drop DnD, yell at people not to stand in fire and collect epics! This article is interesting: http://www.eldergame.com/2008/01/31/the-stages-of-designerhood/While it talks about MMO designers, just change “Designer to “Player” and “Player” with “Blizzard” and it suddenly it applies to Wow gamers. Take a break Arie, read the article and hopefully you find your “zen”. | |

Raiding won’t change much: I drop DnD, yell at people not to stand in fire and collect epics! Therein lies the problem, very little changes. I've known a lot of healers quit because healing is exactly the same now as it was in Vanilla, it's still whack-a-mole but its just been gradually sped up to the point where instance design promotes "smart aoe heals" which aren't so much smart but forced. The disc spec has been punished by this form of healing, while not necessarily weak in itself, because it has never ultimately favoured this favourtism in design towards stupid healing requirements. Then again, I'm a grouch and have played for a really long time as well I remember things like when warlocks dark pact restored only 100 mana and shadow priests being insane in world pvp (the fact I remember world PVP is something else entirely). There's only so many variations of raid design you can see before it become just the same old thing. We'll see with the collisieum, but TWO JORMUNNGAR WORMS might just push my limits on excitement *eye roll*.

| I actually don't mind vehicle fights. Flame Leviathan (with at least a tower up) is the most interactive fight in Ulduar for me because its one of the few fights which isn't the same as everything else.
With that said, I hate the jousting system so help me God if there's a jousting fight in the raid version (Rhodie tells me there's one in the five man).
