| Interesting review hereInteresting discussion of the way game reviewers for CoD: BO were treated hereFor more interesting (but not CoD relevant) review 'bribery', hereTbh it sounds like Borderlands. Scored high by most reviewers, ignored the dreadful Gamespy multiplayer implementation and the relative short life of the single player being interesting. At least CoD sounds like an experience, Borderlands didn't try. This doesn't change the fact that giving a high rating to a product that is flawed seems unethical. I know Gallow and some people defend these games based on their merit as multiplayers but it feels to me that if you include a single player mode you kind of need it to stand on it's own, otherwise focus all attention into the multiplayer and release it with more maps on launch rather than waste time with a SP mode. /oldmanrant | |

| If my experience playing Bad Company 2 with strangers vs playing Left 4 Dead 2 with you guys has taught me anything, it's that the multiplayer experience is more satisfying with people who only accidentally try to kill you rather than intentionally try :< | |

| I played about 6 hours through the singleplayer at a friends house, it's like a M. Bay movie at times ! lol, I liked it.
I don't have it for ps3 or pc yet.. but maybe soon..

| Black OPs is terrible. I rented the game for 3 days, and I stop playing after 2-3 hours. On the contrary, I much preferred MW2 over BO.
3D didnt help much too.
Games with too much flashbacks and self tortured scenes arent my thing, unless it involves scantily clad chicks dripping hot wax and in leather gear.
Battlefield series > COD series... period.

| Agreed. Although the single player of all these games is getting incredibly cliche.
Waiting to see if Homefront does a better job of depicting war.

| Played it last week for a few hours. Game kept crashing since it was only released that day or something. Got 2/3 of the way through the game and one of the crashes caused all the progress to reset, settings everything. Steam let me keep my useless achievements however... fucking wow. So its sits on a shelf now, unplayed. If your not going to play its MP aspects/features, don't waste your time. | |
