ROFL... haven't watched the show and glad I didn't blow money on it.
I like this review. It's very succinct. Like:
Can you explain Megan Fox's appeal? Yes. She looks like a porn star and has the same acting talent as one, yet for some reason she makes mainstream movies. This tonal disconnect is what's so appealing about her.

Because Michael Bay has a huge erection for jets and tanks and aircraft carriers and considers giant robots only a necessary evil for the film. At least 15 full minutes of the film's 150-minute run time is nothing but footage of jets and tanks and planes without any robots or actual action whatsoever.
I was actually saying this to one of my friends when we were talking about going to watch it. Kind of glad I didn't now.
Need more reviews like this, imo, whenever a movie comes out ;P

Watch it like an action movie. A little of transporters' disbelief.
Throw any transformers legacy, knowledge and logic out of the window.

I haven't watched a pure action movie without a solid storyline since Bad Boys 2

er...Tranformers 'logic'?
I dunno... last time I remember seeing a damn big transformer robot fold-fold-fold and become a tiny thing. At that stage, I already threw away all the logic.

they could have save alot of money and rake in more from box office receipts if they do away the robots, explosions etc and just show megan fox for 100 mins non-stop. ok maybe 10-20 mins of robots just so it gels with the title, but no need for expensive FX, just a zoom shots of someone holding those plastic transformers toy will do.

certainly potential in there. Megan fox battling out with Dildotron, throw in a couple of fembots ala Austin powers stlye, and u probably have a winner. Might be m18 rated though so ppl like me will have to download to watch it.

I watched GI Joe, and I enjoyed it more than Transformers 2 somehow.
Might be lower expectations, but it wasnt really riddled with cliches, bad jokes, and they did tell a more sensible story(which has a really weak background) compared to transformers (which had a better legacy).
